Dele Babade has over 35+ years of experience in investment banking, financial advisory, business strategy, and credit risk management across different countries and regions, including London, Abidjan, Lagos, Johannesburg, and Greece.
He is the founder and CEO of AfriCapital. Over the course of his career, he has executed significant Merger & Acquisition (M&A) mandates as well as debt and equity capital raise transactions for blue chip corporates including ETI, MTN, Cell C, De Beers, Vodacom, Tiger Brands, Shell, Heineken, BAT and Nigeria LNG.
He served as a Chairman and/or on the Board of Directors for several strategic companies, including –
- Chairman of the Board Director, Africa Risk Capacity Pan African Insurance Company; and
- Former Board Director, Head of Board Credit Committee & subsequently Chairman Board Of Directors at Diamond Bank Plc.
